Possibly people feel characteristics and nostalgia in a certain town because there are features on the landscape very different from other towns, and the people see it over and over again. Therefore, this study focused on advertisements in front of the station, and searched for the factors that brought such characteristics by railway lines. The survey targets were stations on the Keio Sagamihara Line and Tobu Tojo Line. As a research method, we took photos in front of all stations and analyzed the number of advertisements and the ratio of colors. As a result, both lines had common characteristics in the up and down directions with a certain station as a boundary. On Keio Sagamihara Line, the opening year affected the station's character, and on Tobu Tojo Line, the number of passengers affected it.
