A Study on Strengthening of Disaster prevention organization system and Local cooperation in Super high-rise Condominiums

Abstract

In Japan, flood damages and risks are increasing and large-scale earthquakes are predicted. In particular, the actual conditions and issues of disaster prevention measures of super high-rise buildings are not fully researched. The purpose of this study is to grasp the disaster prevention activities of management associations and residents’ neighborhood associations of super high-rise condominiums, and cooperation activities with local governments and other organizations. In conclusion, this study identified common issues in each region and summarized key points related to strengthening of disaster prevention activities and local cooperation in super high-rise condominiums.
