When a huge earthquake strikes cities, a quick response must be done. Evaluation of damages comes first. But in this time, it is difficult to examine damages of buildings in short time. This paper deals with a practical method to collect damage information of buildings after a large-scale disaster. The discussions are done based on the experience of Postearthquake Quick Inspection of Damaged Buildings at 2004 Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake.
