A basic study on the design method of the pedestrian space

Abstract

We investigated the Practice of Traffic Control Service in Seoul city. They are summarized as follows:1.Studying the history of urban transport of Seoul, we can understand that tramway was removal from road by a rapid expansion of car. 2.The continuation of bus-system administration is a large undertaking. Therefore, the authorities adopted a new policy which represents semi-public operational enterprise. 3.Seoul-model of traffic service has a good reputation not only in The Republic Korea but also in foreign countries. We can meet the new trend of the age.
