Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify a role and to examine a possibility of social entrepreneur in town management. We investigated their activity in community and analyzed a characteristic of social entrepreneur from an element of a mission, business models, partnership approach, and activity results. From analysis of these, their role in town management is to strengthen local communities and connecting with the outside. As a result, many subject participate in town management, it seems to lead to sustainable town management activities. And the future, it is hoped that they grow into existence to support reproduction of the community and regional economy in many areas.
