The comparison of the Policies for the Designation of Trees of Landscape Importance and a Case Study of Chigasaki City

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the method to designate the tree of landscape importance through the comparison of the policies for the designation of trees of landscape importance and a case study of Chigasaki city. This paper clarified the two points. One is the importance to catch the citizens' opinion in designating the tree of landscape importance. And the other is the effectiveness of both the recruitment of tree's picture and the questionnaire.
