Development and effect validation of environmental education program at the urban open space, using signs and web pages

Abstract

To promote to learn and observe wildlife without facilitator, we placed signs Showa Memorial Park and provided information about wildlife using web pages for mobile phone. Its utilization and effect were surveyed by questionnaire. The results indicated that the system could provide learning opportunities without facilitator whenever users choose. However, use of web pages was low. It is necessary to ensure incentive for users.
