In patients with knee osteoarthritis, wearing a knee orthosis improves joint positioning. However, no attention has been paid to the wearing pressure, which indicates the tightness of the hook and loop fastener. The neurophysiological effects of local compression have been obtained by wearing the device. Therefore, increasing the wearing pressure may further improve the sense of joint positioning. In this study, we focused on the wearing pressure of the knee orthosis and examined its effect on joint position perception. The results showed that High Pressure was significantly lower in 60°of knee joint flexion than in Control (p<0.05). It was suggested that increasing the wearing pressure of the flexible knee orthosis may improve the sense of joint positioning.
