Abstract

This study aimed to identify aspects that may significantly influence the satisfaction of Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) users and those who have discontinued AFO use. Interviews were conducted with AFO users and former users, and the interview content was analyzed using Steps for Coding and Theorization(SCAT). The resulting theoretical descriptions were categorized and interpreted. As a result, it became evident what AFO users expect to achieve by wearing AFOs, areas where improvements in AFO structure are desired, and the needs related to AFO provision services. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that improvements can lead to the delivery of better AFOs and services to the users.
