Abstract
In order to examine load caused by pitch walking, we made healthy subjects in their 20's (5 males and 6 females) walk with different cadence (pitch walking), and determined their heart rate, RPE, walking speed etc. There was no transition of heart rate when the pitch was under 120 (step/min), while it increased when over 120. Change of pitches results in change of load amount. It is useful for application on to the aged and diabetics and for guidance of home programs henceforward.
