Abstract
Atmospheric and water temperatures, pH, Fe and SO4 of the water were determined at the 37 stations running over the district of limonite deposit near the Kusatsu Hot - spring. The variation of chemical components is understood in considering the presence of two kinds of underground waters, one of which is strongly acid and in very paucity of iron and the other contains it considerableamount of ferrous iron.
