Abstract
The survey of terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) in cases with hematological diseases was carried out by using CAPY KIT-TdT. Fourty of 45 immunofluorescence-positive leukemia cases were also biochemically positive, while 79 of 81 immunofluorescence-negative leukemia cases were also biochemically negative. Therefore, the results from immunofluorescent analysis on TdT by CAPY KIT-TdT well corresponded to the results from biochemical assay of this enzyme. In addition, several human non-lymphoid leukemia cell lines and blood mononuclear cells from normal volunteers were not stained specifically by using CAPY KIT-TdT.
This reagent will provide a useful mean to survey TdT-antigen in hematological diseases.
