Six species of two echinasterid genera were collected by snorkeling surveys from shallow depths (0–10 m) of Rishiri Island, Hokkaido, Japan: Henricia densispina, Henricia nipponica, Henricia reticulata,
Odontohenricia occasus, and two undescribed species of Henricia. All these species were newly reported from Rishiri Island. We suggested the possibility that H. djakonovi is a junior synonym of H. densispina. These species were clearly discriminated by body color, and characteristics of pseudopaxillae, marginal plates, and abactinal, adambulacral, and oral spines. A key to species of Echinasteridae occurring in Rishiri Island is provided.
