PWRC published "Hydraulic characteristic examination manual of bank protection block" to evaluate the hydraulic characteristic value such as drag coefficient, lift coefficient, and roughness, etc, and stability of block.
However, some blocks which velocity distribution come out from the logarithm distribution, and roughness is too higher than the block height are examined.
Therefore, reexamination of velocity measuring point of the block crown, and the velocity measuring point , the fluid force line of the upper end blocks are started by the fundamental study.
