Abstract

In general, there haven’t been enough studies on risk assessment using the multiple flood prevention system including pump drainage, consisting of rivers with different magnitude and pump drainage. Therefore, this study evaluates the storage volume in pump drainage area and shows the adequate capacity of drainage pumps corresponding to the capacity of the river and the rainfall magnitude. Additionally, a diagram comparing each risk of two rivers (big river and medium river as an effluent of the big river) corresponding to the combination of each river’s improvement is shown to discuss on the adequate improvement sequence of integrated flood prevention system.
