DEVELOPMENT OF THE SIMUlATION TECHNIQUE FOR THE INUNDATION AND THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE TOKAI RAINFALL DISASTER

Abstract

Tokai rainfall disaster in 2000 has noticed us the necessity of management system against flood. Therefore, We positively wrestle with the software system, including flood forecasting and support of making hazard map, in Aichi prefecture. So, we organize “ Aichi technical commission” to develop the analytical technique of complex inundation due to inner water and river water. In this paper, we report the circumstances of Aichi project.
