Abstract
For the purpose of studying mechanism of the transformation from rotational momentum to linear momentum on the collision, the kinematical theory of collision of rigid body was tested in simple experiments with small elastic balls. The device of this study is the one in the guide tracks on the approaching slope. The width of the track is alterable to change the initial angular momentum of test ball. The validity of the theory is certified in the small scale experiments. But the difference between calculation and measurement is found in the strong collision because of elastic large deformation. More sophisticated methods will be applied to elucidation of impulse phenomena.
