Abstract

The deterioration in the performance of the brake Huid is caused by the absorption of moisture,and the water content in the brake fluid can be calculated from the measured value of the relative dielectric constant of the brake fluid.So,the brake fluid containing distilled water was examined using parallel electrodes and a LCR meter for controling the moisture in the brake Huid.As a result,it was confirmed that the control of moisture in the brake Huid was carried out effectively by parallel electrodes,but it was necessary to make correction taking account of the innuence of insulatQr used for electrodes and the edge capacitance of the electrodes.
