Testing　Method　for　Flammability　of　Granular　Synthetic　Resins using　Niodified　Oxygen　Index　Method

Abstract

In　order　to　develop　flammability　testing　method　for　the　granular　synthetic　resins　on　the　market，the　oxygen　index method　prescribed　in　Japanese　Industrial　Standard（JIS）is　modified　and　applied　to them．Moreover，an　oxygen　index　is determined　by　a　newly　proposed　method．Appropriateness　of　this　new　testing　method　is　examined　by　comparison　with　the oxygen　indexes　measured　by　the　conventional　oxygen　index　method　for　several　samples．
