Abstract

The diagnosticr adioisotopiac ngiography in the clinicalm anagement of trophoblasticn eoplasia was studied by analyzing the patterns of radioisotope (RI)-dinamic curve obtained by processing sequential image with a computer, and an attempt was made to express numerically the size of tumors present in vivo. It was demonstrated that the total activitieosf RI in the abnormal phase of RI-dynamic curves in trophoblasticn eoplasiaw ere closelyc orrelatedw ith the sizeso f the intrauterinet umors actually restricted.
Analyzing the data more priciselyt, h e followingf actsw ere found;the totala ctivityo f RI was very closely correlated with size of tumor in the cases of invasive mole (r=0.9273 p<0.01);correlation was not noted between them in the cases of choriocarcinoma. Student's T-test was employed to evaluate whether or not each case of choriocarcinoma belong to the same population with in vasivemole. As a consequence, some belonged, but some did not. It was demonstrated that the case of choriocarcinoma belonging to the same population with invasivem ole were rich in lacuna formation in its histologicaalr chitecture.
