Abstract

Spontaneous uterine rupture in the mid-trimester of pregnancy is very rare. A case report of spontaneous fundal rupture at 20 weeks' gestation in a primigravida is presented. There was no apparent cause in this case. Similar cases reported in the literature were reviewed, and the etiology and keys to the diagnosis are discussed.
