Abstract
Paddy drying and storage facilities do not exhibit completely their capacities because of a short term usage and large variances of quantity and moisture content of collected paddy. This paper was aimed, therefore, to relate the data to an optimum design of the facility, clarifying a state of collected paddy; moisture content, quality, collecting period, quantity per day and quantity variation in the term, in relation to weather condition, paddy variety, harvesting method, regional feature, and so on.
Furthermore, a measurement precision of moisture content and influences of hulling recovery rate and rice quality to a marketing rice are investigated in this paper, since the collected paddy by each farmer with different quantity and moisture content is treated in a lump after receiving.
