Abstract
Circulating serum protein fractions in starvation.
1. Total serum protein decreased progressively during starvation in rabbits. The decrease of albumins, α- and β-globulin and the increase of γ-globulin were observed. The decrease of A/G ratis was due to mainly the decrease of albumin by the etstimation of circulating protein fractions, because he decrease of albumin was above that of globulin.
2. In the recovery experiment the rate of reproduction of albumin was much more greater than that of globulin.
