Lipstick, used by almost all Japanese women, is the most important product of makeup cosmetics. Sales of lipsticks have increased year by year because of their innovative development. In this paper, the differences between skin and lip, troubles with lip, the required functions for lipsticks, treatment effect, texture, luster, coloring materials, perspiration and long-lastingness are described.
