Abstract
Recently, in a city region, increase of human activities or energy consumption, change of a land covering situation become a major factor, and various phenomena called an urban climate have occurred. There is "Heat island effect" in which the temperature of the city central part does not fall as the remarkable sign compared with the suburbs. About temperature distribution of Kumamoto, we carried out automobile observation every about ten years from 1980, and have so far inquired about correspondence with change of a land covering situation, change of the heat island effect, etc. In this report, since the temperature data logger which carries a GPS function was used and temperature distribution observation at Kumamoto city and within Yatsushiro city was carried out. Furthermore, we compare both campuses from the measurement result of the temperature and humidity ears in the Kuhonji campus located in the Kumamoto central part, and the Nirenoki campus located in a suburb.
