Abstract
We investigated oligomer-assisted injection molding which is characterized by the injection of oligomer following the injection of synthetic resin into the same die cavity. It was made clear that, when using die cavities designed to give suitable thick-walled parts, oligomer-assisted injection molding can form an oligomer channel similar to the gas channel in the case of gas-assisted injection molding and thus show good transmittance of injection pressure to the resin flow ends.
