Abstract

In recent years, obesity has become a social problem that is also being felt within companies. Obesity causes lifestyle-related diseases that induce metabolic syndrome, including hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension, and the decreases in productivity it causes in companies is thought to be a big problem. In addition, the serious decrease in physical fitness from a lack of exercise that comes from a basic dislike of exercise not only impairs health but also causes huge damage to production capacity during work. In this study, we determined obesity based on BMI in longitudinal data on physique and physical fitness/athletic ability over the three years of high school, and tracked the status of obesity. Briefly, wavelet interpolation was applied to the changes with age in BMI, running, jumping, and throwing, and an aging evaluation chart was constructed based on the aging changes. Individual longitudinal BMI, 50 m run, standing long jump, and handball throw were applied to the constructed aging evaluation chart in an attempt to explore whether or not the individual will be an effective and hard-working company employee in the future from the tracking status of physical performance in obesity.
