Practical Confirmation of a Feedback System Construct for Health and Physical Fitness Promotion for Improved Productivity

Abstract

　We previously proposed a “simple health promotion feedback model” (Tanaka et al., 2013) that applies a logistics theory aimed at strategic rationalize of work content with a distribution system at its core. In this study, we attempted to verify the use of this feedback system from implementation of fitness promotion activities that were undertaken collaboratively by a research institution and community day care centers. In this study, we attempted specifically to validate the process sequence of the public relations system and measurement system in this feedback model. This is the first stage in a series of studies to establish the validity of this system.

　The classifications in the process analysis in this study were initially divided into “movement,” “communication,” “meetings,” “documents,” “preparations,” and “measurements.” From the results of process sequence validation using these classifications, the public relations system was shown to consist of 9 processes based on the activities in “within research institutions,” “by research organizations and local governments,” and “by local governments and day care centers.” The measurement system processes were divided into 3 steps based on the activities “within research institutions,” “by research organizations and local governments,” “by research organizations and day care centers,” and “by local governments and day care centers.” The first stage was shown to consist of 7 processes, the second stage of 9 processes, and the third stage of 10 processes. In the future, it will be necessary to observe and survey the time, movement distance, and other factors in this process and to analyze the decrease in loss need.
