A Study on Application of Management Information System to Human Resource Utilization

Abstract

　It is stated that in a knowledge creation type organization, it is important to create and activate "places" that can access real time information on external world information and update knowledge in response to that information. Regarding "places" accessing external information, it will be wide ranging from customers, suppliers, communities, industry organizations, employees' families. In this research, we examine the target of both "supplier" which forms a relatively broad industrial structure and "home" of relatively narrow range of employees for "field" which can access external information in knowledge creation type organization. As a result of the discussion, it turned out that there is a possibility that the management information system may be effective in providing "a place" for accessing external information in both the supplier who forms the industrial structure and the home of the employee.
