Damages of Wooden Houses by The Noto Hanto Earthquake in 2007

Abstract

   This paper presents the damage of wooden houses by the Noto Hanto Earthquake in 2007. Damages of wooden houses are same as the damages caused by the past earthquakes. The theory of damage on structural timber flame with hanging wall is being cleared and all modes of damages are observed. It is important to popularize the seismic diagnosis and reinforcement for existing wooden houses. [This abstract is not included in the PDF]
