Abstract

In the family of 1-dimensional maps with the power parameter p and the bifurcation parameter a, which extend the Logistic map, we estimated the Feigenbaum points of a for different values of p, using the compression rate. As the results, in this system, we found that the transition of the Feigenbaum point of a can be well approximated by the fourth-order polynomial equation.
