Abstract
n-heptane skeletal isomerization on zeolite beta that platinum and iron were loaded on was investigated. This catalyst inhibited cracking products due to β scission and produced isomer selectively. Some characterizations indicated that platinum in the catalyst would be highly dispersed when iron was coexistent on zeolite. Loading of both platinum and iron were decreased by optimization. The optimized catalyst showed raised conversion but retained remarkable selectivity.
