Effects of W on the selective oxidation of acrolein to acrylic acid over orthorhombic and trigonal Mo-V-W-O

Abstract

Orthorhombic and trigonal phase Mo-V-W-O complex oxides were synthesized with one-step hydrothermal method. And their catalytic activity for selective oxidation of acrolein to acrylic acid was investigated. The results showed that both of orthorhombic and trigonal phase Mo-V-W-O complex oxides are excellent catalysts for acrolein oxidation to acrylic acid especially under low water partial pressure.
