Abstract
At about 200°C, tartaric acid alkali salts are completely decomposed in phosphoric acid and potassium iodate mixed solution, and they react on the oxidant (KIO3) quantitatively.
From the amount of oxidant (KIO3) that present in the phosphoric acid after tartaric acid alkali salts are all decomposed by the above reaction, the tartaric acid alkali salts in cyanide copper bath can be determined.
