Abstract
A method of chemical analysis of citrate in high speed silver plating solution was developed. It consists in complexing citrate with excess copper ions and back titration of the copper ions with a standard EDTA solution. In this case, it was necessary to decompose free cyanide in solution with ammonium persulfate since it was revealed to interference the titration.
Potentiometric titration curves measured with platinum indicator electrode were helpful in determining the proper titration condition.
