The speed of conventional brass plating has been rather low, however, if the copper-zinc ratio and pH value are appropriate in the complex cyanide salt solution the high speed brass plating such as with high current density of 6A/dm2 is by no means impossible. The surface of deposit is smooth with uniform color. Automatic control is preferable to comply with the necessary strict temperature reguirement.
