A-32 Report on the Damage Investigation of the off Miyagi Prefecture Earthquake and Northern Miyagi Prefecture Earthquake (2003), : Part 2 : Damages to Piping equipments

Abstract

There occurred earthquakes in May and in July in 2003 in Tohoku District. The first one was a large-sized earthquake due to oceanic plates and the later was a middle-sized one directly above its epicenter. In order to gather damage examples of building installations, we visited the disaster spot and investigated the damage buildings by photography and hearing. In this report, we report piping equipments among the damage examples by the field survey.
