Abstract
In this part, the natural ventilation operation method for the grand lobby in interim season was proposed, and the field test was enforced from May 12-30, 2003, for the verification of indoor thermaVair environment and the energy-saving effect using natural ventilation. The results are shown as followings: 1) the lobby indoor thermal and IAQ conditions were maintained within the limits of the standard of the Act for Maintenance of Sanitation in Buildings; 2) the energy consumption for air-conditioning became zero compared with the same period in 2001 and 2002, and acquired the positive energy-saving effect. As a conclusion, the natural ventilation operation method for the grand lobby was very effective in practice.
