Abstract
Semi-transparent PV, besides generating clean power, encourages utilization of daylighting in building. In this research, experimental investigation of semi-transparent PV and the simulation model required for synthetic evaluation are developed. In this report, a thermal model of semi-transparent PV has been validated against measured performance data of the panel temperature and from the calculation model the amount of heat transmission through semi-transparent PV is estimated.
