Abstract
We developed Ground Heat Exchange System by effectively utilizing temporary installed Diaphragm Wall as a ground heat exchanger. Combined with the ground-source heat pump, we used the system in the snow-melting on-site test. The purpose of this test was to verify the snow-melting condition of road surface and the heat collecting performance of ground heat exchanger of two different types through the winter season. From the test result, it is evaluated that the system can provide the road surface of good condition for pedestrians and it functions effectively as a countermeasure towards the snow damage in winter.
