Abstract
In recent years, a thin coating film, which is applied to the windowpane for reducing the solar heat gain and improving the indoor environment, was developed. In this study, the effect of the coating on the indoor environment was examined through the field measurements. Also the simulation analyzed effect of coating film on the cooling/heating load. As results, the coating film can improve indoor environment. On the matter of energy conservation, the film can reduce cooling load while increase heating load. The film can reduce annual load of the building of which cooling load is dominants (for example office building).
