Abstract
Recent office buildings adopt 40-50W/m^2 as a design capacity of the outlet electric power, and the capacity of the air-conditioning equipment is often decided as 50-100% of this outlet capacity. Though this numerical value is growing big in accordance with the progress of office automation, there is an opinion of whether this value may be made small, because saving energy of the office automation equipments has proceeded recently. There are few materials to judge the validity of this numerical value. It is very important to know the actual condition of the amount of energy consumption of the office automation equipments which becomes equally to or exceeds lighting electric power.So we investigated the electric power consumption of the outlets of a multi-tenant tall building.
