A-29 Study on evaluation of drainage performance of drainage system with air admittance valve : (Part1.) Investigation of method for positive pressure control using the horizontal drainage pipe

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose the evaluation method for drainage performance with air admittance valve (AAV),which is applied to drainage stack system in high rise apartment houses. This paper discusses the investigation of propose the positive pressure control method by using two kinds of device. One is improvement of house drain size and the other is application of positive pressure attenuation device. As a result of this study, authors grasped the characteristic of positive pressure generation and efficiency of positive pressure relief.
