Abstract
Generally, typical apartment houses are equipped with a drainage system with special fittings. However, a horizontal branch on the lowest level of pipe-lines does not combine with a drainage stack system. They are usually installed as individual pipe-lines separately. Since there are high demands for reducing the amount of labor for installing the horizontal branches on the lowest level of pipe-lines and improving clog-up problems, this study is to discuss a design method for combining the drainage stack system to horizontal branches on the lowest level of pipe-lines and its feasibility.
