Abstract

Indoor thermal environment and thermal comfort are influenced by many factors such as building properties, heating systems, outdoor climate and occupants. In this paper, thermal environments and energy consumptions are analyzed by the coupled simulation of convection and radiation for a floor heating system and a wall-mounted air-conditioning unit under different thermal insulation levels. Thereafter, comprehensive evaluation is made using the comfort indices specified in ISO-7730.
