Abstract
To solve sick house problem, the photocatalyst technology is expected as the mitigation technique for indoor air pollutant concentration. The photocatalyst decomposes the harmful organic compounds into carbon dioxide and water by irradiation of ultraviolet rays. However, there are few scientifical reports about the decomposition performance on the photocatalyst, and the capability evaluation method has not been established yet. In this study, the pollutants decomposition capability on the photocatalyst was evaluated by the pull-down test and the constant emission test. And moreover, the evaluation test method was examined from the results by the descrived test method. As a result, some reduction effects of chemical substances concentration were shown on evaluation by the pull-down test method, but not shown on evaluation by the constant emission test method.
