Abstract
In this paper, distributions of temperature, airflow and humidity in house kitchens are examined with CFD results. The relationship between position of air supply and indoor environment is studied on the basis of CFD. The CFD results show good agreement with the experimental results. The detail of humidity distribution near the exhaust hood and the direct capture efficiency (DCE) of exhaust hood are evaluated, because humidity and temperature in kitchens are influenced by the capture performance of hood in real situations.
