Abstract

In the sickroom, clean air is essential for treatment of the patients. Generally the sickroom with four beds is trend in Japan. As a consequence of the trend, issues are air conditioning and difficulty of personalized thermal environment control. Then it is suggested to use displacement ventilation with radiant panel in sickroom. This study is intended to inspect validity of the system. In this paper, the result of experiments on displacement ventilation with one bed and theoretical predictions of the vertical distribution of concentration based on the calculation of previous study are described.
