E-18 Study on the Prediction of Thermal Performance of Double-Skin Facade : Part 1 Confirmation on the Fluctuating Performance and the Preliminary Examination on the Prediction of Performance in Summer

Abstract

At present there is no guide to design considering seasonal or annual thermal performance of double-skin. The purpose of this study is to develop the guide to design considering seasonal or annual thermal performance. In this paper the fluctuation of shade coefficient and over-all heat transfer coefficient as the performance of double-skin. And approximation formula for shade coefficient was developed using standard solar heat gain. The possibility for simply prediction method of shading coefficient was shown.
