Abstract
The aim of this research is to protect workers and exercising people from heat disorders by predicting body temperatures (both core and mean skin temperature) and sweating rate of human. In this paper, we have proposed a method for predicting "solar operative temperature" with black and white globe thermometers, and measured solar absorptance of white globe. The predicted mean skin temperature applied solar operative temperature which was obtained with globe temperatures has agreed well with those obtained from human experiments conducted outdoors.
